Experiences such as accidents, crimes and near death experiences can be awfully traumatic. The trauma can either affect the behavior of the person by having nightmares or by acting paranoid or by lack of sleep. Some cope with traumas by getting psychological help like therapies or group sessions with others that experiences the same. Some often take sleeping pills to be able to sleep. While some, luckily, can handle the stress and were able to move on with their lives. We should always take into consideration people with traumatic experiences, try to understand their behavior and try our best to help.
