Closed captioning is a term describing several system developed to display text on a television or video to provide additional interpretative information for viewers. It started in the year 1960. It was also back then that the first telecaption adaptor was made. Today closed captioning on DVD’s, televisions and others are marked with the symbol “CC” meaning closed captioning.

But haven’t been “CC” more familiar to us in the shirts we wear we today. There are funny t-shirts that contain this symbol. And for most it is very eye catching. There are actually different designs of funny t-shirts, like dogs and cats saying some sarcastic phrases that still look really cute and unique.
